Why do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat. I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been.

I know I'm somewhat out-of-place here (I did post in classifieds also) but hopefully I'm not out of line>?
Hello fellow anglers~
I have a nice, never used, 2-person inflatable kayak I'm looking to sell.
It's about the same quality as a higher-end Sevylor.
It has received rave (unbiased) reviews of 4.5/5 stars. Many expert 'yakkers' <- that sounds bad but isn't... have shot Class III rapids in this model 'yak' and were impressed with its abilities. You can verify all of this online.
Comes with lots of extras but no paddles.
Original retail at "Wally-World" was $425.000
I'm asking $250.00.
I'll upload photos and more specifics later.
I'll also give Bill 10% of the sale to donate to the conservation/charitable organization of his choosing.
Thanks
Mark
That way neither of us had to drive in the heat to make the exchange.
I will be using it in the Napa River mainly the upper area from the OxBow/Copia area, Lakes Henneysee and Berryessa in Capell Cove.
Where is the Hawk a really good yak, and what waters should I probably avoid?
Last but what gear besides fly rod holders would you recommend like an anchor and line.
Hope everything is good on your end.
Regards
Dave
All Right, Dave. First of all your paddling skills should dictate the water. I would never tell a beginner to go in the Ocean in a kayak but I would and sometime last year a man paddled far enough out on opened water to catch a marlin along with several other fish, in a FH12.
The waters you mention sound Ok, But unless you got skills stay on flat water meaning lakes. I'll send you some images of how to set up your anchor.

The UTube of the guy from the old sod with that Marlin is enough to make one consider the driveway as the best place for a kayak.
I'm looking forward to your pictures of the anchor. I will be buying a rolling pin that revolves.
Did you find a double blade paddle or a single blade/stand up paddle to be the best for you?
Thanks again,
Dave
My favorite paddle is and the only one I use is the greenland paddle. I highly recommend you get one for the Freedom Hawk because it's excellent for standing (which you'll doing a lot of in the FH12) and paddling as well as sitting.
They have them at CCAK their on my web page. Get their longest length.
Now buy my book and call me in the morning.
