Still some Steelhead on the Lower American River

Local drift boat guide Al Smatsky emailed me that last week while guiding clients for Shad he watch a conventional angler land 8 Steelhead to around 4 pounds.

I think Al puts in around Roosmoor Bar.

I caught two steelhead yesterday trying to catch shad. Go figure.
