    Cool CA Water Related....

    Just a bit of CA water history.... The SacBee has been covering the SK Foods scandal and the indictment of Scott Salyer (former CEO of SK) for racketeering and other crimes. Scott Salyer is the son of a pioneer San Joaquin Valley agricultural scion named "cockeye" Salyer (deceased). Cockeye was one of the original, dominating board members of the Westlands Water District along with J. G. Boswell.

    Not overly important but maybe illustrates how money and power can influence judgment....
