Lightbulb Steelhead Report Card online reporting

    Hey guys!

You can submit your steelhead report card ONLINE: http://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/steelhead/ReportCard/Default.aspx

Kind of a pain to get it started, but once you're set up, you can just log-in each year to submit.

Learned at the DFG booth yesterday at ISE that anyone who submits their cards (online/mail) by Jan 31st is entered for a free guided steelhead trip....

Mine and Paul's are done, how about you?????

I really like this, and the online license purchase procedure.

Bought my 2010 punch card at the DFG booth and they informed me that I did not have to mail it in anymore. It is on line and they indicated that this would be a time saver for all.

    Thumbs up Thanks, Robin

Just this am I realized I hadn't sent in my report card for 2009. So, I put it on my calender for 1/1/11, and yearly thereafter. I was reminded because I wanted to see recent postings for Steelhead activity. Then, I saw your post on the e-mail posting for the report cards. Very easy. Thanks for posting it.

    Figures......

California, the home of Silicon Valley and all that is high tech...... Yet, the State can't implement a simple real time F&G licensing system so that all we have to carry is maybe a bar code on the back of our CDL?!

Gee, Bar code gets scanned during Warden check and viola! Warden knows exactly what stamps were purchased, etc. Renewals could be automated annual charges to CC and bar code is updated.......

Nope, we're still wearing paper licenses around our necks while carrying an iPhone in our pocket...... Ugh.

I don't mean to be a 'stick in the mud' but getting excited about finally being able to submit steelhead catch reports online in the year 2010 goes to show just how low this State has sunk......

Geez, maybe that's to encourage people to report them on-time? ...
