    Default Epic -

Just back in from 15 days @ Punta Colorada (13 days fishing) ......

Previous record was 18 species in 12 days , we broke 20 different species in the FIRST THREE DAYS . I still have to cross check several , but we are calling 26 species this trip .

It was insane , totally off-the-hook , WFO at times . I'll post the report and photos after some much-needed sleep/ibuprofin/mending wounds -

Missed everyone , and hope all are well .

    Scotty -

'Great time' doesn't cover it - As you know ..... I've been nutty about fishing since age 3 , and I've done a lot of it . This was the finest trip I've been on yet , and I doubt I will ever see anything like this again .

I hit the wall on Sunday , November 29th - Candida and I went fishing with my Friend Johnny (Bartender at HPC) @ Punta Arena , just South of the Hotel . After scratching up a few School Sierra @ the old Panga camp .... we hit the lighthouse point and found VAST SCHOOLS of Ladyfish !!

I landed 31 , and jumped another 100-150 fish IN UNDER THREE HOURS - the surf was pretty rough , and I was falling-down-dead-tired when I left them (still biting , if you can believe it) so Johnny could make it to work His shift at 3:00 PM .

And that was only ONE of the many high points .

I'll get the photos and video (!!!!) up later today .

David, I can't wait for your report. I need a fish fix, since the weather here sucks and I am in a serious withdrawal since Belize. Any big Pez Gallo from the beach?

Sounds like a great trip David!
I figured you'd get into a mess of fish out there.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
