    Default Scott ARC 1196

    Anyone have experience with this rod? Just picked one up. Wondering if the Skagit compact 420 will work well for this one.

    That sounds about right but there are few people around who fish it that might be able to tell you better. Have you searched through speypages?

    Hi Todd, what's up buddy? Looks like you had a great trip!

    I have that rod and have Rio's skagit in 400 gr. and love it. I think the 420 might be too much. I would shoot for Airflo's compact at 390.
