I'm kinda like you Bill, even when I get on the water. I'm here in Honolulu right now & have fished for the last 5 days. I hooked one 4#er so far on Monday with a guide. So, I'm doing a great job of preserving the fishery! Every day I have seen at least a couple of dozen to over a hundred fish- most in the 4 to 10# size. The conditions are tough right now- the wind is average 10-20mph, it's a full moon week & the fish are super spooky- it's shallow water (8" to 2'). I may extend my trip of another day to try & get a good day of hooking! Fishing here , with these conditions I would akin to permit fishing on the toughest day. But just to be here & see the quality of fish & enviornment is the greatest- I'm not disappointed at all.
