Default Fall Colors (no new photos)

I have been really busy with student teaching this semester and have not been able to get out and take any pictures, so I need to plan accordingly. I was hoping any of you fine gentlemen (or ladies) can let me know how the fall colors are turning out further north. I want to get back to Burney Creek and get a shot with better clarity and detail than what I got a few years ago.

If you want you can post some photos of your fall so far, I need something to get me inspired.

p.s. Chris, amazing work in the other thread, I love the last two.
Rob, good to see you are progressing and continuing to shoot, keep up the good work.

    Nic,

Nice shot and thanks for adding to the thread. Would you mind telling me where that shot was taken, I am intrigued by the moss on the rocks.

That shot was taken at Putah Creek. Right now you can get some awsome shots of Putah because the flows are real low, exposing the mossy rocks. It's best a day or two after a good rain so the moss can really brighten up.

Hey Ben, Nice to see you posting. Most of the colors have passed now, but some places like Yosemite are still nice. Hope Valley is just passed peak now, but some nice groves can still be found from what I am hearing. I haven't had many opportunities to get out this fall either and it totally bums me out!

These shot were actually taken on the east coast while I was back for a wedding. Fall had already fallen, but it was still beautiful.

    Chris

oh yeah- thanks for the comment on my other thread
