Bulid a pram for $300 ??

Link to an article - guy built a 8ft pram for around $300 with tools most of us have.
I thought his way of clamping the rub rails was very clever. Also found his hints on reinforcing joints informative.

Wow, he did a great job on that. He should be very very proud. I think some foam floatation in chambers would be a good idea though. That thing gets enough water in it and it'll head for the bottom.
