Thumbs up Congrats to Ted !

Ted takes his newly rebuilt boat out to the A. for the first time on a solo trip -

Ted payed attention to tips on hunting Stripers -

    Ted C&Rs a 12 Lb. Striped Bass !!!!

Ted picks up Lee S. and myself , and runs the boat so we can get in on the action -

    We see lots of nice-sized Stripers , and I land one @ 8 or 9 Lbs .

Did I mention that Ted has been fishing for less than a year ?????

    Talented , hard working , unselfish = Ted !!

Thanks , Man .... I owe you big time !!!

That lower American River of ours is a great gift from the "Fish Gods".

That is so cool that we have another Striper chaser out there.

More fly fishers = more catch-n-release.

I have very little to do w/ Ted's catches other than suggestions on lines , flies , basic stuff like that - He is just a natural . No fear of going out alone and figuring out solutions to the situation . Pretty rare to see a young person (hell .... ANY person) with that ability .

It's a little disturbing to see someone THAT good ! I'm pretty proud of him and expect to see some great catches in the future !

Without your tips David, I wouldn't have been able to throw that sink tip 10 ft. I probably would have been out there with a floating line and pink wooly bugger. I'm attempting to tie some deceivers right now. I'll have to come over and have you show me the correct way.
