    Default Lee Vining

Actually it's just outside of town at the 120 / 395 intersection. I had a salmon salad one day and steak n' eggs the next morning while gazing out over Mono lake. It's not diner cheap but everything tastes unique and it's a great find when you need good eats and fuel for the rig...enjoy

Default Agreed this place is awesome

I'm lucky the owner works for my wife catering dinner and lunches for her tennants in Mammoth. Matt really makes some fine food. Only place that rivals it is the Mono Cone which is an institution for the entire region.

Oh you guys are killing me!!

Whenever I drive along 395 my biggest concern is choosing between Whoa-Nellie and Mono Cone. I obsess on it for hours!

    Default How about Bridgeport??

Perfect timing, SLOwag...my buddy and I are heading for Virginia Lakes this week. Is there no place decent in Bridgeport? Maybe a cheesy sports bar?

    Thanks!!!! -Mike

    Default Places Bridgeport

Bridgeport Inn serves a fantastic lunch & dinner. There is dumpy sports bar called Rhino's and if you want to get pickled that is a fun place to grab a drink and people watch.
