Default A Kid in a Creek

Had a great time fishing with my 5 year old daughter Olivia in a valley creek this afternoon. These were her first fish on a fly. #10 bead head Crystal Bugger. The fish were very cooperative!

Olivia bent on a surging Hardhead:

    A nice Green Sunnie:

That was super fun fishin'! Matt.

Those pictures are priceless, I love the first one. Awesome technique, you must have taught her that.
If he had it his way nobody who did not know how to catch a fish would be allowed to disgrace a fish by catching it

    Default Like It Was Yesterday

    Matt,

Cherish these moments and reflect on them often. My little girl is twenty-eight now and I still see her like she was five turning over rocks in tide pools and playing with salamanders,,, gee, they grow up soo fast

The first picture is really good.... Eyes closed, facing backwards.... What other way would a youngster use

    Thanks for sharing....

Thanks for the post appreciation everyone. I am real happy with the first photo of Olivia fighting the fish. She was yelling: "Daddy, HELP!!" the whole time. It was a crack up. Those Hardheads can be pretty hot. Matt.

What I like the most is that she is a wet wader, that is so cool that she is willing to stand in the water and catch fish.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    Default cute kid

Adorable photos. If you closely at #1... the line is wrapped around the rod below the stripper guide... surely made for some extra bendo...

Photo #2 gets cute fisher-girl of the year award.

    Way to go pops~!
