Any tips on flies for this lake?

I only fished it once, and got skunked.

There were quite a few bank fishermen, but they complained the lake had "turned off".
The Pitt above Big Bend is the bomb.

It was a few years ago, but talking to the people along the shore it's a hit-or-miss lake.
It is fairly large, so be prepared to "figure out" where you need to go.

Iron Canyon can very tricky, as slob mentioned. Very sensative to the lake level which is dependent on power generation. I'd call Vaughn's in Burney for details.

Haven't fished it in years but Pheasant Tails, San Juan Worms, and red & black Zebra Midges have all worked in the past under an indicator when the levels were low. Trolling 'the usual' works too. When the lake is high, much harder to fish, seemingly. YMMV.
