East Carson/Glen Alpine Creek

Below is a link to my June video journal of fly fishing the East Carson, Glen Alpine Creek at Fallen Leaf Lake.

Flows were >650 cfs at the East Carson where I managed one hatchery 'bow nymphicating a tan bird's nest.

Caught some white fish and nice wild 'bows on dries at dusk at Fallen Leaf Lake's Glen Alpine Creek inlet. 50 feet away a pretty back-packer girl was killing them on salmon eggs with a gear rod. Sorry, I didn't manage any video coverage of her.
