I remember seeing movie footage of Celilo Falls throughout my life time.

This was a world famous place where the Native Americans did their subsistence fishing.

As most must know the Native Americans and sport fishermen had nothing to do with the demise of the unbelievable salmon runs on the west coast of the USA.

Someone said the Sacramento River drainage actually had more salmon than the Columbia River drainage?

When you have a few moments please watch this historic footage.

It is hard to believe but in the next 100 years more dams should be coming down than going up.

As the dams are removed the salmon will come back all by themselves, eventually.
