just got some of these boots from the shop and they are amazing thanks guys for all your help. i was in the river last weekend with them with flow around 4,000 CFS and had no challenges.

I agree, these boots are awesome! I've been out 10 or so times in the Simms Guide boot and I love 'em. Way safer when rock-hopping. And stick like glue on the river bottom. I'll keep my studded felts around, but I'm not sure if I'll ever need them.
