    Default WTB: Cataract Oars 9'

If anyone has any oars lying around for a drift boat I would like to purchase a used set. I was borrowing a set and now I need some of my own. I'm looking for cataract oars that are 9' in length. Thanks, John

expect to pay a pretty pennny. i personally think cataract shafts are the best you can buy. people don't get rid of them often because people love them.

You don't see them used much.

Mostly they go with the boat when it is sold.

It's always worth a try. They have all kinds of used ones at Clackacraft, but thats in Idaho and sort of far away.

    Default Oars

I have a pair of Sawyer 8 1/2 feet wood oars, the finish on them is in good condition.

Thank You but I got a used set from Hyde. They're in decent shape and for not a bad price. Thanks, John.

I have a pair of 9' oars. Cateract shaft, sawyer blades, and couter balanced handles. The oars are in great condition. I have a slightly narrower drift boat (wooden Tatman) and need 8.5' oars. I would need to purchase a set of 8.5' before I can sell them though.
