    Default 4/27 AR Report

Bruce and I went out yesterday looking for shad on the lower river. Bruce caught one small male. I didn't get any but had a grab from a steelie right at a drop out below a riffle. Bruce also had a 20' steelie on but it popped off. Wading was tough at 4300 cfs. Bruce got the prize for the first shad of the season on the A. with a fly!

Congrads Bruce, I knew it would probably be one of you two to be the first shad due to the fact that you two put more time on the Amerinca for shad then anyone else I know.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    Nice going Bruce.

I guess now it's officially shad time.

I understand that they are being caught at the mouth of the American so they should be in the river by next week. Let the games begin!!

Gratz on the fish. Hopefully the spot I like to go will have some fish holding this year.... Flows seem high enuff to where they like to hold there but at 4300 it's pretty tough wading....
"Did you catch anything".........."No, did you"........

"Hey man, mind if I fish here?"....."Yes"...."Thanks man!"
