Headed up north on the Sac for Stripers today

I was on the Feather today after hearing lots of good reports about big numbers of fish being taken. Seems like everybody in Yuba City is talking about it but the problem is,"they're being taken with minnows" and don't seem to want anything else. With this full moon the last few days its tough for the fly guys.

The water flows are up on the Feather and combined with the Yuba's increase it's really boiling through the Shanghai Bend falls. The water temp. dropped to 56 degrees and the color is really off too. But, this is apparantly drawing in new fish.

We've also been marking large schools of small fish this past week. All the same size blips,,,,,,,, maybe SHAD ?
