    Default Pesky LMB

Went to the Delta today searching for Stripers, my favorite local species, but all I could find was several LMB. I fished early and covered alot of ground. From Decker Island all the way to Liberty Island looking for some clear-ish water and never found any. All these bass were in the same 40 yard area. I was using a 250 grn Rio striper line and they were eating small chartruse/white clousers and big whistles. All you LMB guys head to the delta its time for me and my striper addict friends to start hitting the rivers.

Thanks for the report and great photos Hatch.

It is April first now and that means warm water species are waking up now.

Thanks for posting the photos! Those are indeed some chunky, healthy-looking bass. After a long winter, can't wait to start getting into 'em again!

Nice looking bass Maury. We should get together and fish one of these days. It's only been 13 or 14 years or so since we fished last ... Hope you're doing well.

Yeah, I hate it when those pesky LMB's take the bait when I am after stripers.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
