They're Starting
Bill,
It's a bit slow starting but a few fish have already arrived and are just working their way up stream. We even took two on the Feather a couple of days ago as well.
We took one home for dinner last week that was buldging with a distended stomach. Curious about what it had been feeding on I opened the stomach only to find that it was empty and the gut was swollen from two very large milt sacks. This guy was ready to spawn NOW.
Water temps on the Sac were approaching 57-58 degrees and this is just about right for the low end temps of spawning.
I'm sure things are going to bust loose real soon and if anybody can you some fish Shane will.
