Fished Bonny to anderson today and even with the miserable wind we still boated 10 fish.

    Default Wind can be tough

    Darrin:

Thanks for the report. Wind on the Lower Sac can make for a challenging day and other than unfishable flows may be the toughest, particularly if you are trying to drift. I've had a few days we were not certain we'd make the take out. Glad you braved it out and caught some fish. Looks like the weather and particularly the wind should calm a bit later in the week. Did you find any exceptional fish?

My girlfriend boated a beautiful 19" bow. 3 fish over 17" and the rest were close. it was a good day considering it was her first time fly fishing and the miserable wind. most fish came on brown rubberlegs but small micro mays and PMD's were working. couldn't find fish on caddis and only saw 2 caddis all day.
