'Seco today

Me and Duke hit Rancho Seco today. Hoped for some early action on the planted "derby" trout.

We spent most of the day looking at Bass. Saw them everywhere.They're definitely in pre spawn. Had one follow all the way to the boat and turn away.

I hate Bass.

The hatchery truck showed up at 4:30, so a few stunned, stoned, and befuddled trout did get caught. Big ones at that.

Duke's all tired out now from a hard day of sleeping in the pram and being petted by little girls.

I'm just tired from a day of fruitless casting.

We both stink.

Looking for some revenge tomorrow.

Hey Ed, good to know I'm not the only one who has a tough time at that lake at times. I can tell Duke had a terrible time. Hope you get 'em tomorrow!
