It won't be long now. My own unofficial first sign of spring has just shown up.

Sandhills over my house circling, gaining altitude, and making a bee-line north.

You guys fishing the Delta notice a bunch of Cranes taking off and not coming back?

Saw next to no cranes, but lots of egrets just haging out. I was able to land one dinker striper. Water is pretty brown all over.
