Niceeeeeeeeeee. Davo was "in my opinion" one of the hardest working guides in the valley. He was on top of the game. I can hear him now......... "What the heck!...Over" Man we had great days on the water and stuffing our faces in pizza joints. His vidoe/dvd has much to offer folks.
    Cheers, Ken

    Glad to hear it, Bill!

Some of us still half-expect to see Dave on the river with a client when we're drifting the Lower American for stripers. He left an indelible mark, and is still missed.

The DVD will definitely serve well those who seriously pursue Linesides...

Dave was a very special guy and is missed by many.

He had more friends than most anyone will have in their lifetime.

Dave fished almost every day of his life and for that reason he knew more than most about the river and the fishing.

His first obsession was the American Shad which he was one of the best at catching on a fly. He developed the 'Wet Pinky' which is the best fly for catching Shad on the American River.

We would hear stories about Dave almost weekly because he was so active on the river.

I think he must have enjoyed teaching others how to fly fish and after a while got into guiding people. He would have guided everyone for free if he didn't need the money.

Later he moved into the Striper world and became locally famous for his skill in getting average people into them with a fly rod.

Every time I would see Dave I would ask him a series of questions so I could stay up with his constant evolution in fly fishing. He was a generous person.

He is life was cut short but he probably had more "good days" than most.

I will never forget his infectious laugh.............
