    Default Trinity 1/6/09

Pat Campell and I drifted the Trinity Jan 6 with guide Greg Hector. In spite of me breaking my prized Anderson custom Sage RPL 896 we had a good day, I landed 2 adults and Pat landed a nice brown, an 8 pounder and a 10 pounder. We indicator fished with BH Hare's ears and #14 Copper Johns.
Greg is a great guide, highly recommended-his phone number is 530 515 5918

Dave, great fish. What a great day. I'm new to steelhead fishing and can't imagine what it must be like to have a fish like that on the line. Thanks for the report and the great photos.

    Hey Jworg
You're right, it looks pretty harsh. What I do for a pic is grip the meaty tail part hard and just cradle the fish with the other hand.
    Jbird,
I know what you mean but the guide revived her for a while and she bolted away.
