Presentation: Trophy Pike on the Fly at Gods Lake, Manitoba

Hello Anglers!

We invite you to a free presentation about Gods Lake on the fly. Gods Lake is an incredible fishery that is home to some of Manitoba, Canada's largest Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Walleye, and Brook Trout. This presentation will focus on the timing and availability of each species throughout the season (June thru mid-Sept).

For summer of 2009, we have established hosted trips to target the trophy Northern Pike of Gods Lake. Northern Pike reach massive proportions of 40 plus (some 50+!!!) inches, many of which can be taken on topwater during certain times of the season. Experiencing the fierce blow-up grabs from a trophy Pike is one of my angling favorites! They are mean, tough, and aggressive... all of the qualities for a good fly rod species.
