    Default Rancho Seco derby results

I got a letter today from SMUD that had to be signed for, and since I am in PG&E territory I knew I had won something. It turns out I placed 10th overall and got a nice little check for $20 and a 1 day pass to Rancho Seco. And this was with just 1 fly and I mean I fished with just 1 fly, I only have 2 Dragonbuggers and 1 was missing about 3/4's of the tail so I used the one that was whole. Next derby I am going to go with all my flies and see if I can achieve a higher result, I know a fly can take top honors. But in the mean time I am very happy to have placed in 10th.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Right On Scott ... 10th place is not bad at all!! Congratulations! I lost an eye on my last dragonbugger today. So I need to tie up some more. I think I am going to see what I can do to try to reinforce them better. I will be sure to send some your way.

    Nice going Scott.

Next time we'll just go for biggies, any and all flies.

Now, how are you going to buy us all drinks on 20 bucks? Ed
Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.

2 bottles of Thunderbird should do it, and maybe a jug of Boonesfarm.

Thinking about going on Sunday also. Not sure about the weather and waiting until the last minute to go. I will be using my blue skeeter pontoon. I will post the night before if I fish plan to fish that morning. If I go, I will be looking for you and I will need all the tips on catching big trout! Bill
