Great Night on the American

What a night...gorgeous. I saw a pod of at least six river otters swim by. There were stripers boiling up on the surface all around. And, I saw what I never thought I'd see this year...a huge chinook salmon on its merry way upstream. Didn't catch anything. But the fringe benefits were fantastic!

Thanks for the report.....it is really nice out on the Lower A in the AM or PM now.

Sounds like there are Stripers on the prowl right now.

In late August we will have to get out there and search for those Halfpounder Steelhead.

Lots of day light to fish after work during the week night too.
