    Default Scott G Series 9' 12wt 2 pc for $185

I bought this rod for the salmon season, which I have now learned is closed this season and probably next. It's a near mint Scott G Series 9' 12wt 2 piece rod that comes with a sock and Scott tube. I now need to sell this and pick up an 8 wt. $185 plus shipping from Sacramento Ca. 95683. Can meet in town if buyer is local. I accept cash, PayPal and USPS money orders only. Thanks.

    Steve,

Is this a G2 or an original G series?

    Thanks,

    Default rod

Original G Series. I dont believe the G2 Series offers bigger than a 7wt.

Default Scott G Series 12wt offered again $185

I bought this rod for the salmon season on the American River, which I have learned is closed this season and probably next. It's a 1992 Scott G Series 9' 12wt 2 piece rod that comes with a sock and Scott tube and is in good condition (see pics).

The earlier sale fell through, probably in part to my describing the rod as it was described to me as "near mint" when I bought it, 1 week earlier. Lesson learned, I guess. The two rod pieces come pretty close together when assembled, but this is to be expected in a "used" rod. There are some chrome flakes missing (cosmetic only) from the bottom and sides of the main stripping guide, but you really have to look to notice (see pics).

Please note that this is a fishing rod, not a museum piece and the pictures speak for themselves. Please look closely at the pictures before buying. I had to borrow a 7 megapixel camera and set it on "macro" to get the detail depicted (It's not as bad as it looks). I need to sell this rod ASAP to cover the costs of a lighter rod I purchased. $185 plus shipping from Sacramento Ca. 95683. I accept cash and USPS money orders only. Thanks.

Hi Steve. I am a new member. I think that I may have replied incorrectly to your classified ad for the Scott 12wt. Please, check the thread on your original post. Sorry for the error; not familiar with how to navigate this website, yet.
