    Default Almanor Hex Hatch

Any information on the Almanor Hex hatch? Plan to be up in the area over the 4th and beyond and have had a lot of fun when the hatch was on.

Just got back and it is on!! It was my first time and I will be back from here on in. The area is very smokey from all the fires but the fishing was great. That is the coolest bug I think I have ever seen.

Lincoln has been up there for like a month, just knockin 'em dead every night.

I've been getting a lot of smallies since the water is very warm - I sat in the pontoon in a swimsuit and was very comfortable. I did see a lot of guys wearing waders, though.

Bring a few rods strung up with different rigs and fish the nymph on a sinking line until they start coming up.

    Good luck!
