    Default Yuba/Calaveras

    Got rained on:

    1) at the Yuba friday eve - very few fishermen, decent evening hatch - no trout seen, none caught, channel 13 reporter did interviews about a jeep bobbing on a riffle just below the SR 20 bridge.

    2) at the Calaveras, sunday afternoon - no other fishermen, caught 6 small (6-9") fish on #14 stims, 20 other missed strikes, in under 2 hrs. Cold water (53). Saw small (~100#) cougar.

The cat ran across the road right in front of my car.
