I first met Dave up at Rick's Lodge on Fall River in the 1970s when he was hanging out up there with master fly tier and fly fishing guide Bob Quigley. Bob had a little shop under the bar at Rick's Lodge. I guess for some of us old timers "those were the good ole days."
