    Default Using the wrong rod

Look at this clown. He's using his new Sage Largemouth rod to catch Smallmouth. No wonder he's wearing a mask.

I don't know what Sage is going to do to him for that.

Scott's first topwater Smallie, had to work long and hard for them yesterday. Nice going Scott.

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.

I was guilty of the reverse problem yesterday...had my light weight boo trying to bring a nice smallie to hand ....got so worried about the rod I gave him too much room and he broke me off on a submerged tree branch... (was great to have one on the line though! )
    Nice job with yours Scott...

Yes it is true I do love the largemouth rod, I am just glad to see t can catch smallmouth also. The only thing I am not happy about the rod is that there is no hook keeper on it. But I will fix that.

And as you can see from the following pictures, Ed was happy to get into some smallies also.

And can someone correctly identify this fish. They were like little piranha, as soon as something hit the water they attacked it, and I saw some that were over 12".

So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
