Default Bass move to the shallows.......

Low elevation small shallow ponds usually get started first.

Try the afternoons on sunny days.

    April should be real good..............

Been fishing the late afternoons and early evenings (before they close the gates) for bass and carp. I have a bunch of new flooded coves that the bass are starting to come into the transition zones. My best fly so far has been the blue/white CB diver. I've also been throwing my top water minnows in fire tiger color. The carp are also there but a little spooky because there are so many boats in the area.
Can't wait until Easter break is over and everyone's back in school. Most of the guys are with there kids are spring break

I'm heading over to Eastman and Hensley lake next week. The bass are starting to head for the shallows and the crappie are hiding in the trees
