    Default The Skunk!

    Well David,
Seems you have been blessed with the accompaniment of this little critter recently.......ALSO!
My GF and several ladies did Blue L. (Lake Co.) today targeting some of the Eagle Lake planters that get dropped off there. We ALSO harvested only skunk.
What a beautiful day though. It was a first for all of us at that lake, and for one lady, her first in a tube. She loved it.
There did seem to be a flurry of activity around 2:00PM......1/2dz jumpers and a nice approx. 3# LM landed by a gent useing minnows. We did manage several unseccessful grabs during this period.
At the finish of the day we were able to handle a couple 15"-18" trout. A local and his daughter offered us a couple they were carrying in a bucket. He said they caught them from a dwindling creek near his house and they were returning them to the lake.....which is what we wound up doing with pleasure.
All and all, a grand day of learning.....learned they wouldn't hit buggers, chironimides, PT's, BHGRHE's, Prince nymphs, and a few others. Four trolling boats found out other stuff they would NOT hit on today.
    Fun day......
    .....lee s.

    Hi Lee !!!!

Some days they bite , some days they don't .

I would have loved to have seen the Woman in the tube for the first time , that HAS to be one of the most fun things to do in or around water !!

Sure was pretty out there today . When are ya comin' up this way ???

    David
