    Hey Mrs. Finsallaround,
I'll keep you in the loop. Doesn't casting those rods just want to make you go out and spend money?

Oh Totally! I have a birthday coming up, so I'll have to hint real loud to hubby... LOL. Although, he was there while I was trying it out, so he pretty much knows. I just wish I could've tried it with my frog fly that I always use for top-water... March can't get here fast enough!

Robin, which of the two rods did you cast and like? Or did you like them both?

I cast the Largemouth rod. They didn't have the smallmouth strung up on Saturday...

Rodney, sounds like we may need to take my Sequioa instead of your van just because it has 8 seats.

Freeport would be a very good place to meet.

Good news for me: my dad drove up to Fresno today and picked up my refurbed boat from the Gregor factory and took it to my grandfather's place.

Road trip on Saturday to go pick it up and Sunday morning in the garage to mount the outboard.

Too bad I'm going to spend Sunday afternoon in the office instead of trying out the gas motor on a local lake....

Hey Scott, want to help me break it in a week or two from now? We should be able to cover significantly more water in the delta than you can in the pontoon.

You let me know when you are ready Mike, I am always up for breaking in a new or used boat. Thanks for the invite. Heck I'll even pay for the gas, I guess that would work out to about what 2 or 3 gallons.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Mike, sounds good. It looks like we may need the 8 seats. If things keep going the way they are, we may have to charter a bus! I guess I'm going to have to add in a couple of "private ponds" that I have access to so we can set up a real fishing expedition. One of these ponds is on a vinyard with a wine tasting room...this could get real interesting! Oh yea, my fees for the tour....one 7'11'' Sage! Good luck with the boat...most of the places we will check out will be perfect for a small boat, pram, kayak or float tube.

I don't think the sage I am growing gets 7'11" long, but I will have the wife check the garden. I had no idea you like mint.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
