    Default I miss largemouth action

But I got my fix today, that is for sure. Headed out to a private little lake my cousin lives on in Lodi. The fly bite was not happening, but luckily I brought a spinning rod with 3 - 4" reeper worms. So after throwing every fly at every depth for about 3 hours, I grapped my spinning rod. Fished for another 2 or so hours and caught around 15 or so largemouth on my 3 little rubber worms. Hopefully by next week these guys will be ready for some reaction baits. But I had a lot of fun with my spinning rod today. Almost every fish was sitting on the bottow, and the wind was blowing around 15 mph. But I had fun.

So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Those are some real fatties, Scott, even if you had to cross over to the dark side....

How was the water temp and clarity?

I like the dark side, there are more fish every now and then. As for the water, it was cold but not bad. I didn;t have my thermometer but I would guess upper 50's. Clarity was maybe 6-12 inches.
