Default suggestions for a trip to Argentina

My brother is studying abroad in Argentina, he plans on going fishing for the last week of his stay. Our family has traveled to Argentina once before, fishing in the San Martin de los Andes area, Chimehuin, Collon Cura, etc. I know that there will be alot of high water in the region, and it is the only area I am familiar with. I was hoping someone could give me some suggestions on a good spring creek with public access that I could recommend to my brother. I figure the spring creeks will be less effected by the early season run off. any suggestions?

We have some customers who go annually to the area around the Mendoza Fly Shop.

They said this is a really good shop that will help you plan a trip.

Thanks for the insight Bill, I will pass on the information to my brother. The more I read, the more it sounds like Junin may be the best hub city to do a self guided trip out of. I found a great sight with alot of information from aveteran of self guided Argentina fishing expeditions if you have a second you should give it a look....pretty interesting.
