Delta 11/10 report

I've been fishing the delta for weeks catching quite a few fish each week though most have been small. A couple of 4-5 pound fish spread out over several weeks. Lots of small fish!

We finally got into some bigger fish on Saturday. We had about 25 fish with 6 over 4/5# and the big fish coming in at 10#.

We were fishing mostly 6 wts. in 10 ft of water near deep drop offs and access to 6ft. flats. We saw quite a bit of activity with small bait fish being chased all around the flats.

A good day lots of nice size fish on 6 wts. ... whats a little rain?
A small price to pay! :P

That's great....I always hear that November is the top month in the Delta for Stripers.

This was my first 3 lb'er caught on Saturday, last week:



We were actually looking for stripers, but I found this guy instead. It was almost as exciting as catching them on top. Used Paul's Super Minnow in Yellow/White.

Can't wait to get back out there and catch the big one!
