Default Anyone want to fish the Feather?

I am planning on fishing the Feather river tomorrow morning.

Anyone interested in meeting me out there?

You looked lonely all by yourself on this post.

Good luck! I'll be at work....

I'm busy having fun with those old "preseason orders".

Good luck Adam and take some photos.

My Feather River trip was very short. The 2 places on the river that I wanted to fish already had fishermen there and I'm not one to fish in a crowd. I only fished for about an hour, after exploring many different and new 4-wheel paths around the Oroville wildlife area. I actually had more fun 4-wheeling and exploring around the river than I did while fishing.

    Sorry, no pictures this time.

Hey Adam, did you make it to the white gate? There's enough riffles there to have space to yourself for hours. Ed
Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.

Ed, the white gate was my second stop. There were 2 cars there and I didn't want to join the "party." I drove all around the Oroville Wildlife Area today.

I went there Sat. am. Not one grab in 4 hours of working that whole area over. There weren't any salmon sitting on their redds. I only saw one salmon move by me headed upriver. That afternoon I went back to the A. and caught a fat 19 in. halfpounder. Jeff C.

I was there in the afternoon and picked up one about 18 inches and lost another. I didn't see much in the way of salmon either, only one rolled and none in the shallows. Quite a few folks in drift boats.
