McCloud, Lower Sac, and Upper Sac report

I fished the McCloud, Lower Sac, and Upper Sac last weekend with my buddy Dan. Fishing was pretty good on all three rivers, with lots of nice rainbows caught and released.

I think most everything fishes well in October.

So what was the fly of choice on the Upper Sac and McCloud?

I had good luck with a size 8 red fox squirrel nymph with any sort of size 18 mayfly nymph as a dropper.
