Nice! I have to get into some tarpon some day... thanks for sharing.
Hi Tristan
thanks for the comments. Actually I allready shopped these pictures to do exactly what you explained. It looks like you put them through the exact same filters, but just one more time. The originals were quite a bit more "foggy green" and the filter I used kind of crystalizes the water and sharpens the color. I use microsoft digital image pro 10 I usually filter the underwater shots with "levels auto fix" and maybe "exposure auto fix" The Levels really does amazing things for clearing up and bringing rich color to underwater photos. I filtered all of my underwater maui shots with levels auto fix. My son was sitting next to me and every time we ran a photo thru it, we would yell "WHOA!!!"
The other problem is the camera flashed. That usually aluminates all the particles in the water. Its hard to get the camera settings specified on a moments notice when a fishs' life is hanging in the balance
Anyway, Here is the original photo so you can see the progression from the original, to the first cut, to your cut.....fun stuff!

Here's a few underwater pictures taken in Hawaii. The first picture is the original, and the second is a photoshopped touch up. They were taken with my friends Canon cameras with waterproof housings, he also photoshopped these pictures.

Yea I have the same question, how do you do that?
I have a feature in my photoshop program called "Levels auto fix" It does exactly what you see in adams shots.
Jay
Anyone know the best "photoshop" for Mac?
Abode's "Photoshop" is a great program, one of the best IMHO.
Yeah, auto levels usually does a goos job but sometime I take full control when the auto levels doesn't work for me.
