    Default Davis Trip

Thought I would toss in a couple of additional photos of the Davis trip I posted down in the Stillwater section. Just an incredibly beautiful day.
These photo's were shot with my new Panasonic Lumix waterproof camera.
I know the shot is not very close of the Golden Eagle, but that's the closest I have ever been. I have only seen 4 in my life so this made my day on top of the beauty and fishing at Lake Davis.

What?? No registration on the boat with a motor. Required!!!!! I'd eliminate that photo.

The regular size photo shows it better if you " Charlie" would like one, pm me and I would be happy to e-mail it to you. Anything else you would like to point out, PM me. Rockman,
    Neat pics. Thanks for sharing.
Not meaning to hi jack the thread, but, I'm wondering about the "registration" thing. Here's something from the state -

Display your vessel registration number (CF number) on both sides of the front half of your boat in, at least, 3" block letters that contrast with the color of your boat for easy visibility. -

I have no boat or even a float tube, anymore. Curious about how those that do interpret this reg. Thanks.
    Best,
    Larry S

I wasn't trying to be a smartass Jbird, nor was I chastising Rockman....just trying to stop him from getting into trouble. As it stands, I'm very happy to see that it is registered but as Larry pointed out it still isn't legal...probably wouldn't cost you any money but you could get a "fix it" ticket that would cost you time. Additionally, I have been checked and having the numbers on an aluminum sheet in the described manner, temporarily fastened to the frame of the boat was considered to be ok due to the material of the pontoons and the fact that the motor isn't always used. So far I have been cleared by a warden, a state park officer and a highway patrolman. BTW, I liked all your photos.
