    Default Lake Davis kill

Any word as to what's been floating to the surface at Davis? I'm curious about the numbers and size of the pike killed. Thanks-

    75 % brown bullheads
    8 % Pike
    less than 1% Rainbow Trout!

I hope everything goes well this time.

What the... no wonder I didn't catch a darn thing when I was there! No pike and no bullhead flys.
fly: Very light artificial fly fishing lure of which there are two types: the dry fly which isn't supposed to sink the way it just did; and the wet fly, which shouldn't be floating up on the surface like that. An Angler's Dictionary.

The Pike have had a grand time eating those trout! Guess they didn't care much for the spines on the Bullheads. Frenchman also has a heavy population of Bullheads, and they will take a fly!! I'm looking forward to the ice off next year and having Davis on fire with big dumb recently planted rainbows. If it's anywhere near as productive as the last time they poisoned/planted the lake, it's gonna be AWESOME!!
