    Default Barr Flies book

Picked up my autographed copy yesterday at lunch. This is my first fly tieing book and so far all I can say is wow!!!!!!!!!! I read the first chapter last night on Copper John's, and the information is clear and easy to read and the pictures and step by step process is awesome. I can not say enough great things about this book, not only does he show how to tie flies, but how to fish them, when to use them, why he uses them, and basically everything about them. It is like being read a bed time story, I am just in awe over this book. I can not wait to start tieing his flies. I plan on reading a chapter then tieing a dozen of the flies, then moving on to the next chapter. If you do not have this book, you really need to get one. I hope one day to meet and talk with the man himself. Hopefully some day Bill can get him in the shop. I will be by the shop this week to get what I need to start tieing Copper John's.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    I met John Barr twice.

Once on Christmas Island and another time in the airport at Belize City.
