Two new Sage Spey rods.

Sage has two new ones for 2008.

12' 6" # 5 line 4 piece which was a real hit at our spey event.

12'9" #8 line in 4 piece is a killer winter rod for fast tips and big flies.
We got our first one in yesterday and someone bought it in just 5 minutes.

Sage has two new ones for 2008.

12' 6" # 5 line 4 piece which was a real hit at our spey event.

I have tried this one out and was not overly impressed. Also tried the Deer creek 5 weight at about half the price and saw very little difference.

I would seriously urge people to try out the TFO deer creek 5 weight 12.6 before buying a Sage.

Really was impressed with the new Sage ZXL. Also tried out a Scott, think new for 2008, was very impressed with it.
