    anybody ever fish the lagoon near sarah court acces. i was there today and was wondering any good fly pattern

    i was there and caught a bluegill on a nightcrawler. so san juan worms

    There are some bass in there but there are more carp than anything else. Have fun playing around those warm water fish.

    Sorry Guppy, never fished it myself. But if you want to chase some of those bluegill with a fly, I've generally had good luck with various nymph patterns, such as a size 14 Gold-Ribbed Hare's Ear nymph. Good luck and let us know how you do!

    Hey Guppy,

    Did you lose all the flies I gave you? Let me see what I can do to replenish your stock. I bet those soft hackles we tied would do the trick. If I can find them I will bring them over this weekend, plus I think I have a few BG flies that might work.

    I have never fished a San Juan worm, but it is worth a shot. If you fish it in the current with a little weight, you might get a steelie.
