    thanks for adding that JT. have you seen them or has DFG or another agency studying infectation acknowledged their existence in lake solano? i'm not sure exactly where NZMS is located in Putah creek. above or below berryessa? here's what ralph cutter's site says about its habitat:

    "(NZMS) lives in a variety of habitats ranging from estuaries and lakes to large rivers and small streams."

    it only seems prudent to spread the word and practice precaution by treating gear used at lake solano.

    i just started scanning maps. might the term "lake" be a stretch for lake solano? it appears to be a widened section of putah creek.

    The mud snails are found in the creek below Lake Berryessa. They are also found in Lake Solano and the creek below Lake Solano. I'm not sure about the creek above Lake Berryessa.
