Shad Slow down

2 slow nights @ upper sunrise. Anyone have any luck down river?

You're right about it being slow. I got only one Monday evening and 4 last night but Bruce from San Diego got 16 last night. He was using a Type 8 sink tip because of the increased flow. I did see 3 guys FF'ing Lower Sunrise but they were close to the south bank because of the flow. Jeff C.

Fished Upper Sunrise monday and only caught 4. Watched a wading fly fisherman step into the river around 8pm, catch 7 or more fish, and waded out by 9 pm. It was inspiring.
